It happened again. A few days ago, the Ukrainian beauty queen Sofia Magerko and her friend Dasha Medvedeva died in a car accident while broadcasting a live video on Instagram.

Magerko, 16, was filming her friend Medvedeva, 24, while she was driving a BMW at full speed at night when they crashed into a streetlight. On the recording they are seen laughing and drinking what appears to be bottles of wine. According to various media outlets, the girls were drunk.

In the video that went viral and lasts 30 seconds, you can see how in fractions of a second the laughter turned into screams of terror and the screen goes completely black when Medvedeva seems to lose control of the vehicle.

According to authorities, Medvedeva was rescued alive from the remains of the car, but died on the way to the hospital. Magerko, however, died instantly.

So far the model's family, which had won a contest in the city of Izyum, has not offered any statements about what happened. Instead, the young woman's followers have published various pictures on social networks to remember the teenager, who was a lover of nightclubs.

The case of these two young women is not the first in which a live broadcast on the networks has ended in tragedy. They have spread from deaths to live crimes. These types of events have generated claims in favor of greater regulation of networks.
