For some time, Manuel El Loco Valdés has undergone a series of hospital treatments for a cancerous tumor that was detected in his head. However, the comedian does not have the financial resources to meet the costs of this difficult disease.
Given this, various celebrities have come together to request and offer monetary support for the actor, including Verónica Castro with whom she fathered her son Cristian. For his part, Roxana Chávez announced that he will open a bank account for anyone who wants to help him, according to the Mexican newspaper El Universal.
"My financial situation is my fault, in my life I kept a weight," said Valdés when he started medical procedures for this condition. “I don't have money because I didn't even save; I distributed everything to the family, houses, doctors, cars, what do I know; and in the end I ran out of money, but thank God I work”.
In addition to the lack of savings, the Treasury froze Manuel Valdés's accounts; not to mention that, due to his treatment, the actor has not been able to continue with his participation in the play Aeroplanos, which was his main source of income.
Despite all the conflicts, the actor remains in good spirits. According to his grandson Iván Valdés, his grandfather "is chatting with everyone" and he already wants to return to the stage.
For his part, Cristian Castro's father underwent a procedure last Wednesday to scrape the bone in the area where the tumor was removed, so that he can heal quickly and continue his recovery properly.
“Everything went very well, thank God. It seems that I came out ahead, said Manuel El Loco Valdés, to the media, upon his release from the hospital.
