See How Barack Obama Spends His Vacation In Bali

Taking advantage of the fact that former President of the United States Barack Obama has to speak at the Fourth Congress of the Indonesian Diaspora on the island of Java on July 1st, his entire family traveled to spend a few days off with him.

This was a luxurious vacation where apparently no expense was spared because, as reported by Daily Mail, the villas of the hotel where they stayed, the Sayan Four Seasons Bali Resort, cost military troops, as well as a strong security device.

On Monday morning, the family took a raft ride on the Ayung River in Bali and they looked happy on that adventure with the life jackets and hard hats, as recommended in this type of adventure sports.

The next day, the Obamas visited the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA), in Ubud, to appreciate its important collections of traditional as well as modern paintings, by both foreign and local artists, and were welcomed with a typical dance sample from the country.

On Sunday they made their way to the village of Jatiluwih in Tabanan, which is known for its stunning landscapes with rice terraces, and all reportedly walked the 500-meter hiking trail that surrounded the rice paddies and even met with the farmers local.

The Obama trip will last more than a week and will include a visit to the Bogor Palace, one of Indonesia's six presidential palaces, which is located in West Java.

Since leaving office, Barack Obama and his family have taken several vacations, just a few weeks ago they were in Tahiti.
