Christmas with young children is very, very special. And if not, ask Jorge Bernal, who with his wife and children celebrates the season in a fun way and with his family.

"Christmas is too beautiful a time where one forgets everything and is dedicated to enjoying with the children," explains the host of Suelta la Sopa and La Voz Kids (Telemundo). And along with his wife, Panamanian stylist Karla Birbragher, she goes out of her way to make the holidays super special for her children Lucas and Kylie, 7 and 3 years old, respectively.

But as her children grow, expectations and the number of plans for the time also rise. And here the proud parents explain to People en Español how they can spend a Christmas without stress or drama.

"I think the most important thing is not to wait until the last minute to do things. We started shopping already for Thanksgiving, on Black Friday, Cyber Monday,”explains Birbragher. “For these dates we are already finished. [You have to] find the time to pack everything, decorate the house, etc., but everything with time. If you do it in time and calmly, everything will flow more and you will not be stressed, "she advises.

The Cuban presenter agrees with his wife: “The time comes that you are a few days from December 25 and everything you wanted to buy is not available, or there are 40,000 people looking for the same thing. There is no parking in stores, there is no longer what you are looking for … that's where stress comes in."

"I didn't buy absolutely anything online," says Bernal, who says he filled his gift list in two days at Target, especially thanks to sections of holiday gifting collections, distributed throughout the store, and specialized in gifts for each member of the family

“This year, for example, I did not buy absolutely anything online. I tried to go to Target and I got 95% of my gifts in two days, says Bernal.

One of the traditions that the family follows year after year and that helps to make things easier is to spend Christmas Day in pajamas. “We like to spend Christmas at home with the whole family. The night before we had a shower, we put on identical pajamas from the Target Holiday Collection,”explains the presenter from Telemundo. “[We] went to bed on the 24th after dinner and on the 25th in the morning we went downstairs. Usually my parents stay overnight or at 7:00 am they are already here in the house also wearing pajamas. Then, empijamados, we start to open gifts. And so we spent the whole day. " Sounds good!
