After eight years in the White House with an agenda without any space for rest, former President Barack Obama seems to be enjoying a well-deserved vacation to the fullest.

Accompanied by his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia, Barack left last Friday, after Donald Trump's inauguration, heading to Palm Springs, in the southern state of California, to enjoy a few days of relaxation.

In addition to an appearance by the former president on a local golf course, little is known about the Obama family's vacation. But don't worry! Well, it is very sure that the four members of the clan must be having a great time in the residence where they are staying.

According to details shared by People magazine about the impressive property built in 1970 by architect Howard Lapham, it is claimed to be around 11,000 square feet and features a design inspired by Mayan culture.

The current owners of the beautiful property are James Costos, who was the United States' ambassador to Spain, and his partner, designer Michael S. Smith, who redecorated the White House during the Obama administration.

The view from the house over the Coachella valley could not be better, since being the building with the highest location on the mountain, it allows you to have privileged and almost unreal panoramas of the region.

Obama is not the first former president to decide to spend a few days off in this area. Gerald Ford, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan have been some of the ex-presidents who were also charmed by the beauties that this corner of Southern California offers.
