Perhaps with the desire to emulate his colleague Cristiano Ronaldo, who has become a hotel entrepreneur, Lionel Messi acquired the MiM Sitges hotel in the tourist town of that name south of Barcelona, according to the EFE agency.

The Argentinean paid little more than ra for the hotel company Grupo Majestic. Built in 2013, it has 300 square meters in lounges and has 77 rooms, including a superior suite and five junior suites.

It also has a spa with a hydrotherapy circuit, cabins for couples and oxygen treatments, along with a terrace with a rooftop pool and a bar with panoramic views of Sitges beach, according to the Spanish newspaper Expansión.

The owner was local businessman Francisco Sánchez. The cost of the rooms fluctuates between the goals of the FC Barcelona forward, also located in this Catalan city.

Messi, who is currently focused on the Argentine team, continues with the preparations for his wedding with Antonella Roccuzzo on June 30.
