A woman from Tampa, Florida, received a five-month prison sentence for threatening to kill the father of a 6-year-old boy who died in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.

According to local media, Lucy Richards threatened Lenny Pozner, father of Noah Pozner, one of the 26 victims of the terrible tragedy that occurred five years ago.

The 57-year-old woman apparently believed the shooting to be a hoax, a quackery invented by the media and that never happened.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Richards made a series of calls last year and sent emails to Pozner, who now lives in South Florida, after reading articles on the internet claiming that the shooting at Sandy Hook it was "false" and a plan to restrict the right to bear arms.

"You are going to die, death is coming for you very soon," read one of the messages. Another said "look behind you, it is death."

Now Richards will have to spend five months behind bars, in addition to another five months under house arrest and three years of supervised release, decided the judge in charge of the case, James Cohn.
