A day after tweeting Donald Trump threatening him with death, Dominic Joseph Puopolo was arrested by police in Miami Beach.
The 51-year-old man posted a video on his Twitter account in which, in part, he says: "Today is January 16, 2017. I will be at the presidential inauguration and I will kill President Trump." Then he challenges the Secret Service and asks: "What are you going to do about it Secret Service?"
As reported by The Miami Herald, this was just one of several strange messages that the man published in these months, most of them meaningless and with religious themes, always through Twitter.
In the message, and in his own account of that social network, Poupolo identifies himself as "the Lord, Jesus Christ."
It was learned that Dominic lost his mother Sonia Morales Puopolo, in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in the plane that Mohamed Atta crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Police found him Tuesday as he was leaving a Miami Beach Subway restaurant and arrested him. Puopolo, who is a wanderer, is accused of threatening to harm a public official.
