The sex scandal of former US President Bill Clinton and former White House intern Monica Lewinsky will hit the big screen. Amazon Studios recently announced that it will release a film that addresses this famous topic and recently acquired the rights to the script Linda And Monica, the Black List from the writer Flint Wainess. It details the friendship between Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky when they both worked in Washington, DC, as reported by Deadline.com.

The film will be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, the trio known as Escape Artists who produced the renowned movie Fences. Lewinsky was working as an intern at the age of 22 in the White House, where he met Linda Tripp, a former federal government employee who secretly taped her friend Monica's confessions about her affair with then-President Bill Clinton. Tripp gave the recording to prosecutor Kenneth Starr, who was conducting the Whitewater investigation involving Bill and his wife Hillary Clinton in the 1990s.

The intern and president's sex scandal and her meetings in the Oval office garnered worldwide attention. Details of Lewis' semen-stained blue dress and the Clinton trial flooded the media.
