To the titles of presenter, model and businesswoman, Lili Estefan can add that of actress. Not soap operas, but Hollywood, nothing more and nothing less. The Cuban joined the cast of the new film Zombieland: Double Tap (Sony Pictures) starring Bill Murray, Emma Stone, Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrelson.

In an exclusive interview, La Flaca told us about her wonderful experience.

How did the invitation come about?

I was on the road and they called me from Sony Pictures, they said the director wanted me for the movie, I talked to my friends. My children immediately told me that I had to do it. I thought about it for a long time and finally decided on it a day before the recordings started.

And your scene is nothing more and nothing less than with Bill Murray

It is the big surprise of the movie, no one is expected to have a piece of the movie with Bill Murray.

What was it like working with the other actors?

When I got to the red carpet in the movie, everyone knew who I was because there was something that happened in the movie, like I did all the scenes.

Do we idealize Hollywood?

There are things that are great, but in the organic part, they happen the same as we do on television, they do it as we do. [Of course], I think there are more resources than we manage.

What is your role?

From myself, from the interviewer of El gordo y la flaca (Univision). It is a tribute to my career for the thirty-two years [of trajectory], we are very happy that so many beautiful things have happened. It's not just Lili Estefan from El gordo y la flaca. I represent the 50 million Hispanics living in the United States in that movie.
