Nicole Darrington-Clark, a 43-year-old California woman, was arrested this morning after fatally stabbing her 18-month-old granddaughter and seriously injuring another 5-year-old girl.
According to a report shared by People magazine on its online site, the woman had fled after attacking her daughter and the girls on Monday morning.
When the authorities answered the emergency call, they found the baby girl lifeless, while the little sister and the mother presented several wounds caused by the knife.
Despite the fact that the Colton County community has been shocked, information released about Darrington-Clark's judicial past shows that he has previously faced problems with the courts for his violent behavior.
In 2005, the woman had pleaded guilty to attempted murder after stabbing her 14-year-old son and throwing her 10-year-old daughter out of a van while on the move.
The judge in charge of the case found her innocent then after determining that the woman had mental problems. His decision was to send her to a mental hospital.
Although the identities of the victims of the woman's new attack have not been revealed, it is claimed that the daughter and mother of the small stabbed women is the same person that Darrington-Clark pulled the car in 2005.
