Brother Of Murderer Who Dismembered Jewish Boy In NY Found Dead

New York authorities are investigating the mysterious death of Tzvi Aron, the brother of Levi Aron, the man who six years ago murdered and butchered a boy who belonged to an ultra-Orthodox Jewish family, just 8 years old, who asked him for instructions to arrive at his house, while his mother waits for him a few blocks away.

On Friday, the lifeless body of Tzvi Aron, 29, was found wrapped in a blanket and with adhesive tape, in the same house in Brooklyn where parts of the body of the little boy, who had been dismembered by his older brother, were discovered wrapped in plastic in a refrigerator in 2011. A mile from that residence, other parts of the child's body were found in a suitcase at the time.

In an interview with The New York Post from the prison where he is serving a 40-year life sentence for the murder of Leiby Kletzky, the oldest of the Arons confirmed that he and his family had received death threats and that he would understand that Some might see that fact as an act of divine justice, based on the Mosaic law that dictated "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." "It is what the Bible says," he said.

Levi, whom other prisoners call "Chop Chop," said he learned of his brother's death from those same comrades, but until he saw it on the news, he thought it was another way for them to harass him. And without showing any emotion, he reacted: "I really don't know him (his deceased brother) that well." Every time he admitted that the news had made him "a little sad."

Until now, the authorities have not determined the cause of death for Tzvi Aron, since there were no signs of forced entry into his home and no apparent trauma or evidence of a violent death were found in his body. One of the theories that is used is that he could have died due to an overdose and that he could have wrapped himself in that blanket. The autopsy results are expected to clarify his death.
