As the world wakes up to the terrible news of the terrorist attack in London that has left at least seven fatalities and 48 wounded for the moment, new data about this tragedy comes to light.

The solidarity between the inhabitants also said present before this terrible spectacle. According to PEOPLE magazine, some witnesses saw people throw chairs, glass and all kinds of objects at the terrorists to prevent further disaster.

A man named Gerard who was watching the Champions League game in a pub near the Borough Market claimed the Guardian newspaper to be one of those people who attacked those guilty of this new barbarism. "I threw something at them, a kind of stool or chair," explains the witness. "Then they ran towards me to try to stab me and I had to run away because if I wasn't a dead man."

Richard Angel, another witness present, told Sky News that the food was flying and people were throwing tables in order to stop the attackers. Faced with such gestures of bravery and solidarity, the British leader Theresa May praised this Sunday morning "the courage of all those who tried to defend themselves and the rest of the attackers."

It was ten minutes past ten on Saturday night when a van ran over several pedestrians on the London Bridge. Not satisfied with that, three of the occupants of the car went to the Borough Market food market and started stabbing innocent people.

It is not yet known for sure who they are, the investigation is ongoing. Police managed to shoot three of them leaving them dead and there are also several detainees registered according to Sky News, four men and one woman. Although they do not appear to have been at the crime scene, they do appear to be related to the deceased attackers.

This is the third terrorist attack in three months in the United Kingdom. Last May 22 we witnessed another heartbreaking attack during an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester and in March a man ran over several pedestrians on Westminster Bridge.

The British Prime Minister has already announced changes in the country's policy that will result in drastic measures and zero tolerance for terrorism.
