A week after the Boston police made the macabre discovery of two prestigious doctors with their throats cut in their luxurious Boston penthouse, the mother of one of them has released the pain that has torn her family apart.

Authorities accuse former private security guard Bampumim Teixeira of murdering Colombian doctor Lina Bolaños, 38, and her fiancé, also doctor Richard Field, 49, with the intention of robbing them and leaving a written message of revenge. with blood on the walls of the luxurious apartment.

The mother of the prominent South American pediatric anesthesiologist shared on the networks a last goodbye to her daughter who expresses the deep pain that the tragedy has caused.

In her Facebook message, Ana Delia Vergara called her daughter "an angel" whom "nothing and no one will be able to pluck" from her heart.

Vergara, who lives in the Colombian city of Cali, has not been the only one to express herself, since the parents of Dr. Field, the second victim of the tragedy, have also expressed their pain to different media. For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs mourned the Bolaños death and expressed its condolences to relatives and friends. “From the moment her death was reported, the Colombian Consulate in Boston has kept in touch with the relatives of the Colombian citizen and will accompany her relatives during their stay in the city for all matters related to the formalities of the disposal of his mortal remains”, was said in a statement.
