Rafael Uribe Noguera, the confessed murderer of the girl Yuliana Samboni, who lost her life at the beginning of the year in a story that deeply shook Colombian society, will have to spend more than half a century in the shade due to the abominable acts she committed against the little girl. 7 years.

This was decreed this morning at a hearing held at 7:30 am, Bogotá local time. There, the 35th judge of knowledge issued a sentence of 51 years and 10 months to the businessman who on December 4 abducted the youngest of the doors of his house, in a poor neighborhood in the eastern area of the Colombian capital, to take her to her home and abuse her to death.

When the girl disappeared, she was playing with her friends in front of her house. A video captured how her executioner took her in her car to her apartment in an upper-middle-class sector around the city. There, the girl was tortured for six hours, sexually abused and finally perished after a martyrdom fueled by alcohol and drugs, according to the accused himself.

The 38-year-old man, who is an architect by profession, was implacable with the girl: images of the corpse showed the face covered with bites and multiple blows to the body of the minor.

"The sentence of Rafael Uribe Noguera must reflect the general rejection that his acts caused," the minister in charge of the case said during her verdict, in statements reproduced by the local newspaper El Tiempo.

The sentence fell short before the pleas of the girl's father Juvencio Samboni, who was asking for 60 years in prison for the crime.

The father of the minor and other relatives were present during the hearing held in a court in the Palomequao neighborhood and the great absentee in the room was the minor's girl, as it was revealed that she had just given birth.

"I hope justice will be done for my daughter," said the victim's father before the sentence was passed. "If not, it would not be worth so much proof and so much to be given about 20 or 30 years, it does not help me, it has to be the maximum penalty that is here in Colombia."

According to reports, to issue the sentence, the court considered the fact that Noguera had no criminal record and that there were omissions of some data in the criminal process.

On social networks, photos of the large group of people who protested outside the court to ask for justice for the girl, circulated from an early hour, demanding death penalty for murderers and child rapists.
