The American rapper Wiz Khalifa came to Colombia to perform with big drums and cymbals at the Estéreo Picnic Festival, but he said goodbye to the country amid a strong controversy since before leaving he placed flowers on the grave of Colombian drug trafficker Pablo Escobar Gaviria.

The mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutiérrez, reacted angrily to the singer's behavior and demanded an apology. "That scoundrel, instead of having brought flowers to Pablo Escobar, should have brought flowers to the victims of the violence, he should apologize to the city," the politician told the El Colombiano newspaper.

Khalifa, 29 years old and known for his song "Say Yeah", also visited the Monaco building -where the capo and his family lived- and posted the photos of this kind of "narcotour" that he made in that city on his social networks.

According to the BBC news agency, the rapper is a heavy consumer of marijuana and even has a guy who bears his name, which he markets through a company in Colorado.

On his Instagram page, the musician openly shows his love for this herb, not only posting photos of him with marijuana cigarettes, but even in his laboratory - all received with thousands of "Likes" by his followers. The photo he took at Escobar Gaviria's grave alone has more than 187,000 "Likes".

But for Colombia - a country in which this capo and his Medellín cartel left a legacy of some 4,000 murders, including the bombing of a passenger plane in which 107 people died on board - this act of Wiz Khalifa is being seen by some less as a tribute and more as an insult.
