German police have arrested a suspect as the perpetrator of an ax attack on travelers at a Düsseldorf, Germany train station, in which five people have been injured.
According to NBC, the man was arrested after he was seriously injured after jumping off a bridge while fleeing from authorities, who for now consider him solely responsible for the recorded assault at 8:50 pm, local time, at the main station of the state city of North Rhine-Westphalia in the north-west of the country.
For now, the police have not offered many details or the reason behind the attack, which caused panic among the travelers.

Witnesses quoted by various media outlets pointed out that several victims were left on the ground, which at the moment official sources indicate are five. One of them would be in serious condition.
