María Celeste Arrarás is in luck. Her book The Secret of Selena will be brought to the screen in the form of a series that can be seen on Telemundo in the United States.
"Wait more than 20 years to make this project a reality and now with great satisfaction I share the news with you," said the host of Al Rojo Vivo on her Facebook account.
In her work, whose first edition went on sale in 1997, a meticulous investigation by the journalist about the deceased singer and her murder, which will soon be available in audiovisual format thanks to an agreement with Disney.
“Initially, the project was going to be carried out when I was working at Univisión and since I changed the chain, the project was not carried out. Telemundo even bought the rights to produce the project, but due to changes in administration years ago, it did not happen either. So it took longer than expected but now it comes true thanks to Disney, and that will be a guaranteed success, just like the book was,”Arrarás told La Opinion in an interview.
