LaQueena Hunter Grover, a mother from Tulane Louisiana, was tremendously surprised when her son was born on December 9, as her offspring weighed over 14 pounds.
Hunter, who had already given birth to three children in the past, revealed that in their previous pregnancies they weighed between 7 and 12 pounds, but that when she began to look so large in this pregnancy, she came to think that she was expecting twins.
"People would come up to me and say, 'Oh! I think you are expecting twins or even triplets. Maybe there's one more hiding behind the babies."
However, when the child was being born and she saw her husband's reaction, she knew something more surprising than a multiple birth was happening: "My husband's jaw literally fell off," she explains. She also said: "It is big."
The information on how big it was, was given by a nurse: Her son weighed 14.1 pounds. "If I hadn't been on the stretcher, I would have passed out right there when he told me."
The boy, whom his parents called Loyalty Adonis, but already has the nickname "Incredible Hulk," already weighs 15 pounds, wears size 3 from Pamper and clothes from 3 to 9 months.
