In what authorities have called a bizarre sexual fantasy, Sara Packer, a Pennsylvania mother, and her boyfriend Jacob Sullivan were arrested Saturday for the murder, rape, and dismemberment of the defendant's daughter, July B. Grace, of only 14 years old.

According to Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub, "The hours and days before [July's] death were probably the most horrible and traumatic anyone has ever had to experience."

Weintraub indicated that on the morning of July 8, the two suspects took Sara to the attic of a house they had rented where Sullivan beat her and raped her. Everything under the watchful eye of Packer, her adoptive mother.

The Associated Press agency reported that the couple subsequently poisoned the young woman, gagged her and left her there for a few hours. When they returned, the 44-year-old man and 41-year-old woman discovered that she was still alive and proceeded to strangle her until she died.

Authorities say the wrongdoer confessed to them that this had taken longer than he had imagined.

To get rid of his corpse, they packed it with manure to mix the odors of decomposition and to store it in the attic.

However, last October they decided to dismember the body and dumped the parts in a park, where hunters soon discovered the torso. This unleashed an intense search in which police dogs found the rest of the body, leading to the suspects.

Sullivan is charged with murder, rape, kidnapping, possession of criminal instruments, and other crimes. While Packer is accused, among other crimes, of murder, conspiracy to rape, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.
