For two distressing minutes a security camera arranged in the bedroom of two brothers captured the sequence during which the children, who were playing with the drawers of a dresser in their room, suffered a terrible accident.
In the recording, you can see how Brock and Bowdy, two 2-year-old Utah twins, try to climb on the dresser in their room. Due to the weight of the two, the furniture falls and falls on Brock, who is trapped.
Using all his strength Bowdy manages to free his brother, who apparently did not suffer serious injuries.
The parents of the twins, who shared the video on YouTube last Monday, want to raise awareness of the importance of anchoring furniture to the wall to prevent events like this from happening.
I usually hear everything. We don't hear a cry or a beat,”Kayli Shoff, mother of the two children, told NBC News.
"We woke up, looked at the camera to see what was happening, if they were still sleeping, and then we saw that the dressing room was lying down." Shoff assured that the two brothers were still playing so he did not imagine what had just happened, until they saw the recording.
For his part, the father of the two boys shared on Facebook his pride in his son's reaction to the accident.
