"It's true! We are paying for all that, for all their food," he adds.

When one of the Hispanic women says "I'm sorry," the irate woman replies: "You speak English. You are in the United States. If you don't know it, learn it."

The video, which has gone viral and is tagged #Exposingtheracism #Louisville and #PrayforAmerica, was taken by Renee Buckner, who explained that she wanted to expose racism in the United States.

"If we ignore it, it will never end … This is what the United States has become: openly and proudly racist."

The Jefferson Mall where the incident occurred wants to identify the woman who profaned the insults to perpetually veto her.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer also apologized to the two victims. "I hope this video sparks many conversations with our families, now that we are together for this week's holidays. Conversations about basic human values, dignity and respect," he said.
