Victoria Ruffo's Husband Talks About The Coronavirus She Suffers From

Last weekend, it was revealed that Omar Fayad, husband of Victoria Ruffo, had contracted the coronavirus. The Governor of Hidalgo shared his personal experience in this regard.

“In a matter of hours you come down with temperatures that get to have up to 41 degrees. Which causes you terrible body aches, terrible headaches, total exhaustion, you weaken and become dehydrated within hours, Fayad explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “This attack that I have received in the last 72 hours is not resisted by anyone. The doctors told me that thanks to my specific condition and my state of health, these 72 hours were crucial for me”.

The politician explained that he asked his family that if his condition worsened, that they not be with him in the hospital to avoid contracting the disease as well, and asked them to stay away from him and stay isolated for the 14 days requested by the medical authorities.

“I discussed it with my wife [Victoria Ruffo], with my children; I even told them 'let's work on what comes next; I don't want them to be scared, I don't want anything to catch us by surprise, '”he explained. "I think that all Mexicans must take care of ourselves because what I have experienced this weekend, I do not wish on anyone. I doubt that people of a certain age could bear it, it is very hard, it is very violent.”

Omar Fayad sent a message for people to beware of contracting COVID-19 and now assures that he feels better now, although the headache, which "is terrible," continues. He asks that they not "self-medicate" because it can be dangerous, even fatal.

“It has been a terrible experience. I hope they take great care because anyone can live it. Create one that is a joke and then people then do not take security measures, he concluded.
