Adamari López had a great scare in 2018 when she became seriously ill with influenza. After overcoming this health crisis, the co-host of Un Nuevo Día (Telemundo) commented on the threat of the coronavirus.
"I think everyone is afraid, they want them to finish making the vaccine, although they say it will take about a year. After I got sick a year and a half ago and having been in such a compromising situation in terms of health, of course I worry, of course I think that a similar situation can happen to me again and I neither wish nor wish nobody, "confesses the Puerto Rican. "I have taken the precautionary measures, I am already vaccinated against the flu and they say that when you are vaccinated the chances are less. I am constantly washing my hands with soap and water, trying to take all the precautionary measures and obviously putting Alaïa to do exactly the same”, she adds about her 5-year-old daughter.
The actress and presenter has tried not to alarm her daughter, but she has done everything to reduce the risks of contracting this virus. “I think she doesn't understand much, although the other day she was sick before she was sick and we took her to the doctor. She was quite congested, she had a fever, she had a cough and it wouldn't go away and we were worried, admits the famous mom.
Fortunately, the little girl is in good health. “When we returned from the doctor, who had already given her antibiotics and medications, the girl who helps me with her asked: 'Do you have any viruses? And she said: What virus, if I have not gone to China?”, López tells about the girl. "It is what she hears, that the virus started in China, but we tell her that it is a virus that can already occur anywhere because there are people who have been traveling, so you have to take certain precautions."
