"When Selena passed away, I told my family that she was going to keep her memory alive through her music and twenty-five years later I think we have succeeded," says Abraham, the patriarch of that family who, after his departure, opened the Selena Museum. at Corpus Christi so fans could see his flashy outfits and countless awards, and even his red Porsche on display.

“It is incredible that here in the museum they come from everywhere - Europe, the Caribbean, Australia - and they bring their little girls dressed as Selena,” continues Abraham. "And parents tell us, 'She watches the movie [where she is played by Jennifer Lopez] every day, two, three times." New generations that were not born when she passed away have now become fans.”
