Famous Dubbing Actor Murdered In Mexico

Last Saturday, Luis Alfonso Mendoza, who was known for performing Gohan's voice in the animated series Dragon Ball, was shot to death outside his home, located in the Portales neighborhood of Mexico City. His wife Lourdes Adame and his brother-in-law also lost their lives, according to media reports in Mexico.

“Friends, unfortunately it is true. It is horrible to give this type of information and I am the least suitable person to do it, but today my dear Luis Alfonso Mendoza, a great voice actor, died today. We left another great one. DEP”, announced Lalo Garza, friend of Mendoza, on his Twitter account.

According to official reports, after the attack, the aggressor tried to kill himself without success and is now in a hospital. The authorities reported that the attack was caused due to the dispute over a property.

“In relation to the events that occurred in the streets of Colonia Portales, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) reports that according to the first versions they indicate that the dispute was possibly caused by the litigation of a property; SSC police cordoned off the area to facilitate the work of the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office,”reported the SSC on its official Twitter account.

Corresponding investigations are already underway; Meanwhile, friends and colleagues of Luis Alfonso Mendoza have sent various messages with their condolences and regrets on this death.

Luis Alfonso Mendoza was recognized for doubling his voice in Spanish to characters like Joey from Friends; Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory; Leonardo, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Carlton from The Prince of Rap, among others.
