Behind the sexy and sensual image that Lis Vega boasts on her social networks, there is a singer who wants to conquer the public with her album Hermandad, a record production where Vega joins forces with Cuban composers, singers and producers.

Tell us about "Brotherhood"

It is a collaboration with Cuban colleagues in the reggaeton genre. I have been very blessed that the doors are opened to me, I have more than 20 years as an actress in this medium, and now as the poet of the urban, I am currently working on the album Brotherhood. [This album] is a way of giving back to Mexico and the rest of the world everything that they have given us to the Cubans.

How long have you planned this?

Two years ago a Cuban singer emerged with Rommy, we started a studio in Mexico and we began to realize that he had skills in reggaeton.

We did many songs in Mexico, we made “Malandra” which is a case of my life and I wrote it. We did “Infieles” for a condom brand in Mexico, and [I recorded] “Tu servidora” with, [also actor] Julio Camejo. We have done many things, now comes a new single with the reggaeton player Jakarta called "Tell him".

What is special about this album?

This album we are [working] many branches of reggaeton, we are joining all the branches of Cuban reggaeton. It has the essence of each of the producers, we will make a trap with William Sánchez, who is the best ragpick in Cuba, in short, many [things] come and what I propose is that they listen to my music, vulgar zero and zero pitch.
