We all remember that moment when we found out, a day after the Dukes of Sussex officially declared their Megxit, that Meghan Markle had left the UK alone, the same day Kate Middleton celebrated her last birthday, to meet Archie in Canada. Meanwhile, Harry remained at the forefront of the outgoing operation to deal with members of the royal family and finalize the details.

A source revealed to our English-speaking People that upon her return to Canada, the Duchess of Sussex was not alone in an empty house: "Meghan had her friends and her mother around her while Harry was still in England."

Doria Ragland was already known to have spent time during the Sussex's six-week break over Christmas on Vancouver Island. "Much of Meghan's strength comes from her mom," said the source.
