Offset Arrested For Allegedly Carrying Weapons In Public

Rapper Offset, Cardi B's husband, is once again in trouble with authorities after being arrested at a popular Los Angeles shopping mall for allegedly carrying a gun in a public place.

According to local media, the vocalist for Migos was in the popular The Grove shopping center when authorities received a call denouncing the presence of a person with weapons in the parking lot.

The reporter of the incident pointed to the rapper and his companions as the suspects. Apparently, the person carrying the weapon fled the scene before Offset and his friends were detained by the security of the mall, a moment that fans of the musician present at the scene videotaped.

According to Page Six, the authorities confiscated two firearms from the detainees, so they were transferred to a police station for questioning. After several hours under questioning, two of the singer's companions confessed to being the owners of the weapons, for which the rapper was released around midnight.

Upon his release and despite the arrest, Offset claimed to have nothing but "love" for the Los Angeles Police Department, according to TMZ.

This incident adds to the rapper's long list of incidents and arrests. In July 2018, he was arrested and charged with possession of weapons and possession of marijuana in Atlanta, GA. During 2013 and 2015, he spent time in prison, which he released on five-year probation.
