Justin Olsen, an American teenager, was arrested after speaking online in favor of the mass shootings. Police found an arsenal of weapons in his home. Olsen said he was targeting Planned Parenthood clinics, FBI agents and a gay bar, according to reports. Federal agents found more than a dozen rifles and 10,000 ammunition cartridges when the young man was arrested.

It all started with the investigation by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Alaska from an internet chat account where they found comments by Olsen openly supporting the mass shootings. The young man also targeted FBI agents and Planned Parenthood clinics as targets.

Federal agents tracked his email address and found the address of the teenager's home in Boardman, Ohio. There, 18-year-old Olsen was arrested and charged with threatening to harm a federal agent. At their home, they found weapons like AR-15 assault rifles and semi-automatic weapons, as well as clothing and camouflage backpack in a weapons vault in Olsen's father's room. It has not yet been revealed whether the weapons belonged to the father or son. FBI agents reported that the young man had a large following, about 4,400, on the iFunny website. The case remains under investigation.

For his part, Bridgette Gómez, National Director of Strategic Alliances for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said in a statement: “No one should be subjected to the threat of violence just for seeking medical attention. At Planned Parenthood, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment for our employees and our patients, so they can get the high-quality health care they need, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, where they live, or how much money they have.. We are seeing an alarming increase in the rhetoric of violence and hatred around the country, fueled by President Trump himself. It is no coincidence that when the president of this country demonizes immigrant communities, we see white supremacists motivating themselves to take up arms and commit acts of terror. It is no coincidence that when the President spends months demonizing abortion providers, when he personally accuses them of murder, when his administration advances laws created to punish abortion providers, or denies the humanity of the LGBTQ community, we see young extremists motivating themselves. publicly incite acts of violence against healthcare providers or spaces that serve as a safe haven for the LGBTQ community. We have learned, painfully, that threats of violence breed acts of violence. It is high time that we reject the hateful and violent language that follows threats. It is high time that we stop using laws and policies to deny the humanity of women, of the LGBTQ community, of anyone who needs reproductive health care. We are an organization of health care providers. We shouldn't have to fill ourselves with courage just to go to our jobs. Stop! We demand that the President abandon his hateful rhetoric and his abominable attacks on sexual and reproductive health care and on all those who need it. We are grateful to the police for taking quick action. Our doors remain open today, and will remain open tomorrow.”Our doors remain open today, and will remain open tomorrow.”Our doors remain open today, and will remain open tomorrow.”
