In 2013, after five years of marriage, Sonya Smith and Gabriel Porras decided to end their relationship.

It was Porras himself who recounted it in a recent interview with the journalist Neida Sandoval, where the Mexican actor of successful Telemundo soap operas such as The House Next Door publicly acknowledged that he was with another woman during his marriage to Sonya.

“I tried to tell him 'hey look I have these problems, just as there are people who are born with inclinations of taste for the same sex, just as there are people who are born with many ideas, I really like girls, I have always liked them much'.
