After she lost the lawsuit she filed against the journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante, Gaby Spanic is once again involved in a new controversy. The renowned Venezuelan actress used her networks, Twitter to be more exact, to share that she felt discriminated against by Eugenio Derbez during her collaboration on the Telethon.
The protagonist of La Usurpadora attended the charity event in which she dressed up as the 'rabbit' character. The idea was to get into the dynamics of the famous reality show Who is the mask? and start the laughter of those present. She did so well that Derbez did not hesitate to play a joke on her and compare her to Paquita la del Barrio.
A funny comment that did not sit well with Gaby and that she let herself know. According to the 46-year-old actress, she was out of place and sincerely expressed her anger.
“And Derbez so funny. It's Paquita del Barrio! I admire her so? But hey, my sin is being Venezuelan. Unfortunately, discrimination once again!”, She noted in her annoying tweet.
Gaby more than compared to the singer of "Two-legged rat", what hurt him was the humiliation she attributes to the fact of coming from Venezuela. Her comment gave rise to an endless and controversial thread of messages on said social network, some in her defense and others denying her reason, to which the presenter in question has made no mention of any kind.
The Telethon was held on December 14 as every year with the aim of raising money to help maintain and develop rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities, autism and cancer.
