There is always a first time for everything and Catherine Siachoque, who plays Doña Hilda in Telemundo's hit telenovela The End of Paradise, cannot be happier at 47 years of age having made the brave decision months ago to enter to study at the college.

"I had never been to university until now," confessed the renowned Colombian actress in an interview for the program Al Rojo Vivo (Telemundo) presented by María Celeste Arrarás on Wednesday.

"At the beginning it was very hard for me [but] I liked it so much and I felt so much support as well as all the people, my colleagues, my teachers …", she added excitedly.

Although she initially entered the University of Miami to improve her English, the experience has been so positive that the villain of successful Telemundo melodramas such as Pecados ajenos and Tierra de pasiones plans to pursue a formal university career next year.

“I am already enrolled to take credits for a formal college career. Fortunately I can still choose, Siachoque shared excitedly.

But for what career will Miguel Varoni's wife rest ?

“I am between Media Management, that in the School of Communications, and there is another career called General Studies, which I can later specialize in everything that has to do with our business. I'm looking at which of the two I'm going to do,”he said.

His case is the clear example that it is never too late to resume studies.
