Demi Lovato is in a sweet wait … in a wait to be the guest star in the new season of the iconic Will and Grace show.

The singer shared, as a joke, images of her pregnant. For a second, everyone thought it was actually her tummy, but upon reading the fit they quickly realized it was just a fake tummy for her character, Jenny.

"Real or false? The 27-year-old pop star "#WillandGrace #MeetJenny," captioned the post, which featured a mirror selfie of Lovato cradling the baby's fake lump and a short video about her tummy.

Lovato wore a black and white ball gown that accentuated her bulge.

In August, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer revealed that she would make a special appearance on the NBC comedy by sharing a photo of herself on the set of the show titled "Will & Grace & Demi."

A fan account responded to the pregnancy post by writing, "Demi is pregnant with D7" on Twitter, hinting at the interpreter's seventh studio album.

Demi shared the fan post on her Instagram story and confirmed, "This is true." She later republished videos shared by her manager, Scooter Braun, her, in a recording studio, presumably working on new music.

It seems that Demi is happy and back to the spotlight. Earlier this year, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer told fans that she was eager to tell "her side of the story" with her new album.

The singer's comments on her new album came almost a year after her near-fatal overdose in July 2018, though it's unclear whether her overdose and rehab time is "the story" she referred to in her Instagram post..

Will & Grace's final season will debut in 2020.
