Meghan Markle Complaint. The Princess Strikes Back

Meghan Markle's complaint against the British tabloids is now formal. The media harassment and the fake news that caused her so much grief so far could not bring her down and on November 11 the legal battle that Prince Harry announced during his trip to Africa was finally launched.

According to documents filed by her lawyers, the Duchess of Sussex checks point-by-point falsity of the news that was published in the Mail on Sunday. Specifically, those referring to the Frogmore Cottage, her baby-shower party and the relationship with her dad, news that in her opinion wanted to give a negative light to the ex-actress and attempt against her image.

In addition to the comments about Frogmore, another of his allegations centers around the private letter Meghan Markle wrote to her father, Thomas Markle. "At least half of the pieces of the letter were omitted or suppressed," the legal papers filed in court say.

"The parts in which our defendant shows her concern for her father and other people, as well as the way the tabloids are exploiting him, were omitted" and continue to deny that Meghan was not interested in her father's health or try to help you financially or with your medical problems. On the contrary, they affirm that his daughter "has a long history of taking care of the well-being of her father and trying to find solutions for her health problems."

The documents also assure that Tomas never called his daughter to warn her that he could not attend her wedding. Conversely, Meghan called her father before the wedding to protect him and make sure he could attend. She never ignored him afterward or quarreled with him over her decision not to come.

And to finish, regarding her much talked about baby shower in New York, the papers assure that the fact that it was suggested that the princess did not want to include her mother in her are not only completely false, they are also offensive. “Her mom was of course invited, even with the tickets paid. However, she was unable to attend because she had previous work commitments.”

The comment that baby shower guests, including Amal Clooney, Gayle King and Misha Nonoo, belonged only to his new circle of famous friends, is also flagged as "false and offensive".

"The baby shower cost a minimal part of the falsely published $ 300,000, and was organized by one of her best friends from college, " the documents presented assure. "The fifteen guests were close friends with the princess, some of them more than twenty years old."
