For those who are more stressed either by the running of the bulls or because they now have even more work, there is a technique that can help them a lot.
I'm talking about facial massage, a technique normally used by experts in spas and that helps us not only to increase the circulation of the face, but also so that we can relax.
"Facial massage is a good option to relax muscles, increase circulation and help lymphatic drainage," explains Hanna Naranjo, esthetician at Haven Spa. “Facial massage can also help beauty products penetrate better. So it's a great idea to apply a serum or moisturizer when you do this."
In addition, we also had the opportunity to speak with Lara Katsman, massage therapist at the same spa located in New York, who spoke about the importance of knowing the specific points that we should focus on when doing a massage to relieve stress.
"During these stressful times, it is important to work on the points where it accumulates, mainly in the heart meridian, which is located on the little fingers and along the inside of the arms," explains Katsman. “Putting a little pressure on these points and massaging them is an effective way to get rid of stress and anxiety. This is known as the emotional freedom technique."
