March is women's month, a perfect excuse to further insist on the vindication of women's rights and raise awareness of inequality and the thousand and one situations in which women continue to see ourselves as disadvantaged. The bags are made by a group of artisans in South Africa, Mia Melange, and exclusively made from 100 percent cotton harvested by South African farmers who are part of the Better Cotton Innitiative coalition. This initiative is a non-profit organization that operates in more than 21 countries to improve the living conditions of farmers who grow cotton and reduce the environmental impact of this crop, which is one of the most polluting.

Cotton is also made into yarn locally in South Africa, and then each bag is hand-sewn in Cape Town, one of the country's most populous cities. Each bag is priced at $ 98 and you can get it in 4 3 colors: nutmeg, beige, or black.
