Victoria's Secret First Grand Size Model Ali Tate Cutler

In recent years Victoria's Secret has been heavily criticized not only for not offering bras or panties for plus size women, which is why they have never included plus size models in their campaigns nor in the annual fashion show they used to do. However, until now the company has ignored all attacks received. But to everyone's surprise, the brand has just announced that for the first time it will have a plus-size model in one of its advertising campaigns.

It turns out that a few days ago Victoria's Secret announced a collaboration with BlueBella, a UK lingerie brand. It is precisely for the campaign of said collection that they chose the beautiful plus size model.

Model and influencer Ali Tate Cutler was the lucky one and already expressed her feelings in an interview.

"I never expected that I would see an image of myself next to the models that I have admired since I was a child," Cutler told E! Entertainment. "It feels amazing. I feel on top of the world."

This is a great step for the brand, which on previous occasions has gotten into trouble due to the selection of models it makes to be part of it, and also because last year one of the company's executives assured that they would never hire a transsexual to participate in the parade. And is that by now most brands are trying to be inclusive.

"I feel that they are going in the right direction and are listening to their audience who have asked them to see women of different body types and different sizes," explained the young Californian animal lover who has participated in Mango campaigns, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. "I think that if they continue in that direction they are on their way to winning the lottery because that is the stature of most women in America."

Of course, although Cutler is size 14, the Bluebella x Victoria's Secret collection will only offer bras up to size 36DD and even XL in panties. So the brand still has a long way to go and improve in terms of the sizes they offer. But this is already an advance.
