It is not a secret that Jennifer Lopez is one of the best dressed celebrities in Hollywood. Her style is copied by many and it is not for less. Both in her presentations and on the rugs, López dazzles with the pieces she wears. In fact, last night she was finally recognized with the Fashion Icon Award, granted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), being the first Latina to be recognized with such an important award. It is no surprise that many women, including celebrities, admire her and want to look like her. One of those admirers? Her own daughter Emme, who has already started asking her mom for some of her most iconic looks.
But the little girl is not the only one in the family who wants the actress's costumes. And it turns out that her stepdaughter Ella, the youngest daughter of her fiancé is also claiming some pieces of her envied closet.
"She said to me, 'I want your white dress with the orchid you used at the Grammys,'" the artist said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Emma says to me, 'What about that mommy dress? Are you going to stay with him? Don't throw it away. ' They tell me that all the time."
Apparently the girls are already taking over the most iconic pieces of the actress and it will be necessary to see who gets the best part. And, what an envy to be able to choose from the wardrobe of the fashion icon. Of course, very apart from the outfits that her daughter and stepdaughter want, López has no plans to give away and get rid of a particular outfit.
"I have to say that the green Versace dress, that's the piece that has made history for me," she said. "I've had incredible moments with different designers on videos, on things, but that's probably number one."
We already know that López is the icon and inspiration of many women, but what does she think of her style?
"Being exposed to all those couture designers for so many years and all their incredible creations have really expanded my fashion sense," confessed the actress. "So I think [my style] has evolved a lot, but it has also stayed the same."
