After more than five years with her line of perfumes Malicia for women, the former Miss Universe Alicia Machado launches herself into the market for men's fragrances with Mío, who has Cuban actor Pedro Moreno as the image.

"Pedro and I are very good friends," says the Venezuelan in an interview with People en Español. “He is a man who reflects everything that this fragrance means to me. A sensual, manly, self-confident, talented man, a gentleman, committed to his family. It seemed to me the ideal model, and well, there is the image, it was divine”.

The coach of Nuestra Belleza Latina (Univisión), who decided to create this perfume at the request of her male fans, had little trouble finding inspiration to shape her project.

“I have five male brothers and I am very clear about what attracts me to a gentleman. And among those things is aroma and neatness. A man who smells rich and who smells manly”, Machado shares. Besides, I focused on the fixative. The idea is that the man will be smelling Mine for a good time”.

The perfume, woody with citrus notes, is "for all men who know what they want, who have personality, who know where they are going," says the former beauty queen. "For men who want to discover his sensuality, who want to feel attractive, who want women to turn to see him, for that man it is my fragrance."

The images of the advertising campaign, in which Machado appears in a bikini with Moreno, were taken on the beaches of Miami. "Pedro, despite being so handsome and a guy who is gaining strength in the entertainment world, is still a very simple man," says the Venezuelan.

In addition to being a businesswoman, Alicia is also the mother of Dinorah, almost 6 years old, a driver and actress, many roles that even she does not understand how she manages to balance them. "The truth is that I don't know how I do it, I am simply dedicated to work," she says. “I am a very disciplined, very constant woman, I do not have time to think of nonsense. I do not know if it is the defect or the virtue of what I start, I finish it”.
