One of the most frequently asked questions by beauty lovers is how to wash makeup sponges? Beauty vloggers have tried everything from microwaving to dishwasher. But now another unusual method has emerged to remove makeup that builds up on them.
Makeup vlogger Tiffany Lynette Davis posted a video that has gone viral in which she introduces her Beauty Blender sponge into a toy washing machine. The video has caused a stir among users of social networks who have asked all kinds of questions.
"Where can I get it?" It was one of the most popular comments along with "Does it really work?" The latter motivated the vlogger to create a tutorial for her YouTube account where she evaluates the final result.
In this video Davis tests two sponges (one with a powder product and the other with a makeup base). "Keep in mind that this is not meant for sponge washing or for Beauty Blenders," Davis warns of the battery-powered mini-appliance with a drain like real washing machines. "This is literally a children's toy."
Davis proceeds to add water and Glamglow's Gentle Bubble Daily Conditioning Cleanser liquid soap, and after two washes shows the sponges and the result. Not bad, really not bad at all !.
If you are interested in trying this technique, the toy is now available as a “Makeup Brush Cleaner” on Amazon for $ 7.
