The night of the Met Gala is one of the most awaited by fashion lovers and especially by artists who have the privilege of being invited to the grand gala that paralyzes New York City every year. This year's theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion and the celebrities took it very seriously. The mat was a delight to the pupils. And it is that the costumes that most of the guests wore were worthy of being exhibited in a museum. One of our favorites? Without a doubt, Jennifer López who caused a sensation when she got to the pink carpet.

López chose a silver suit with applications, deep neckline and exposed back from Versace, which she complemented with a headpiece of the same material and incredible makeup where the purple shades stood out.

Of course, we assume that to prepare for such a special gala, the artists go through a process of hours. And it is that no detail can go unnoticed. The good thing is that so that we do not continue imagining what happens behind the scenes, López published a video on her YouTube channel how the whole process was.

In the video we see her trying on the dress and giving instructions on how she wants to look and even asking her to change some things to her total look. There you can also see how they make it up and even how it prepares your skin to look radiant in the reflectors.

However, the video also shows the vulnerability of the artist, who cannot stop crying when she remembers her tailor Luis Massi who died last April before finishing the dress that the singer wore at said gala.

Massi was a designer and the head tailor of the Versace house, as was Donatella's right-hand man.

"He died while they were making my dress for the Met gala and I went to one of the first people who called to inform him because we always had a great time creating looks for me, and they knew how much I loved him and how much fun we had," she says. López in a video that he previously published on his channel. “He didn't speak English, he spoke Italian and I don't speak Italian, but somehow we always understood each other. We have had a great time working together over the past 20 years.”
