"My lucky break came when I started working with Lilly Ghalichi," recalls the makeup artist about her friend, influencer and queen of the networks with 3 million followers on Instagram and her own brand of tabs. After taking care of Ghalichi's makeup on his reality show The Shas of Sunset, he started receiving calls from celebrities like Mel B, La La Anthony and Kelly Rowland, the former Destiny's Child… One thing led to another and so, After first applying makeup to her mother, Tina Knowles, Lizama ended up doing the makeup for Beyoncé herself.

"She is super involved in everything she does, but especially in everything that has to do with her image," he says. "The most important lesson I have learned from her is work ethic and always challenge yourself to go to another level and do things you have never done before."

I fight every day to be proud of myself and that my culture is also proud."
