No baby shower is complete without some sweet treats!

The New York City celebration of Meghan Markle's pregnancy - a bash thrown at The Mark Hotel on Wednesday with friends including Serena Williams, Abigail Spencer and Jessica Mulroney - featured tons of amazing touches, including the perfect cookies!

Makeup artist Daniel Martin, the Duchess of Sussex's longtime friend who perfected her stunning wedding beauty, shared a sweet detail from the baby shower, posting an Instagram photo of three cookies decorated with a stork, a rattle and a baby bonnet.

“Such an incredible day celebrating #babylove,” I've captioned the shot.

The beauty guru also poked fun at his outfit on his Instagram story, asking if his head-to-black ensemble was “too goth… for a baby shower?” Despite the color choice, Martin's shirt sent a sweet (Golden Girls -inspired!) Message: “Thank you for being a friend,” it read.

Gayle King, another guest, also shared a fun detail from the baby shower during CBS This Morning on Thursday, revealing that Meghan opted not to open the gifts for Baby Sussex during the shower.

When King was asked what she brought as a present, she replied, “If I told you, I'd have to kill you because she didn't open any of the gifts because she wants to do that when she and Harry are back together."

King shared that with the help of an instructor who taught the guests about flower arrangements, each attendee made a bouquet. The florals were then donated to Repeat Roses, an organization which recycles flowers from events and uses them to cheer up cancer treatment centers, hospice care and similar places where they can bring a little more joy.

"I thought that was a very sweet thing," King explained. "It just speaks to who [Meghan] is. She's very kind, she's very generous and a really, really sweet person.”

The party was reportedly being held in a suite at The Mark hotel, whose head chef happens to be none other than world-renowned culinary expert Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

New York City-based harpist and singer Erin Hill, who has played with Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West and Josh Groban, also arrived at the hotel with her harp in tow - and a cotton candy machine was seen being wheeled into the hotel on Wednesday.

"It was a very, very small, private affair and just a very special time for her," King said.

Meghan departed the New York City hotel on Wednesday evening to catch a flight back to London. Staying comfortable for her ride, the mom-to-be continued her all-black, maternity-chic attire and was spotted outside of her hotel wearing a full-zip sweatshirt, leggings, and Adidas sneakers. She also paired the look with a black baseball cap that had “Rectify” written across the front - perhaps a gift from her friend Abigail Spencer, who once starred on the television show of the same name, and was seen wearing the hat earlier in the day - and a gold necklace that read "Mummy."

The whirlwind baby shower trip comes shortly before Meghan and Harry head to Morocco for a three-day visit highlighting two of their key causes: girls' education and youth empowerment.
