For many fashion lovers, buying a designer piece is not easy. And it is that taking into account the high prices of the designs, only the luckiest ones have the opportunity to attend the parades and buy what they like the most from the collection. That is why buying clothes on sale or second hand has become a custom among many women who yearn to wear fine clothes without having to pay such a high price. Luckily many brands downgrade some of their collections and many other times donate part of their inventory that is then sold to raise funds for an organization. However, this is not the case with Burberry, the brand famous among other things for its cream trench coat with interior that has the brand's distinctive plaid print.
It turns out that in its annual report, the Burberry brand admitted that instead of lowering or donating merchandise it doesn't sell, it prefers to burn it. Just as you read it. The English brand admitted having burned merchandise valued in some years a lot of criticism from network users who cannot believe that a brand has the guts to do this instead of donating clothes or lowering their prices so that many low-income people can wear your clothes.
Although this is now causing a stir and taking Burberry to an unwanted place, other brands also reportedly do similar things to keep the merchandise low. In fact, in 2016 a young woman found in the garbage bags of new clothes cut into pieces by H&M and then the brand had to apologize and ensure that it would not do it again.
