It seems incredible, but Britney Spears had never starred in a "high fashion" campaign … until now. At 36 years old and with her most media stage already behind her, the “Crazy” singer has just confirmed that she is the new image of Kenzo.

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the creative directors of the Japanese firm, have chosen Spears to star in their second nostalgic collection, which this year pays tribute to the fashion of the 80s and has titled La Collection Memento No.2.

Although the face looks quite different, in the photos and videos that accompany the launch it is very reminiscent of the music clips that the artist starred in in the 2000s, where she is seen in super shape, with piercing in the navel and those muscles so marked in the hips that became one of his hallmarks.

The collection is full of crop tops, microshorts, high boots and outfits that, as Vogue herself has stated, no longer fit in her wardrobe.

“It's complicated because, as a mother, you don't risk as much with your style. I think when I was younger I dared a lot [with my looks]. I didn't plan what I was wearing and it was like "ok, I'm going to wear the most scandalous thing", she admits. "I think as a mother you avoid that for fear of embarrassing your children and out of respect for them."

Will you plan to design your own collection in the future?
