Playing sports always feels better when you love what you are wearing … don't you think? Now, Nike wants to make sure that all women can wear a nice outfit when they do sports thanks to its new line that includes sizes 1x-3x.
The brand, which previously only reached size XL, will also include bra sizes that go up to 38E and even a variety of sportswear, including geometric print stockings, slitted camisoles, graphic t-shirts, shorts prints and more.
"Nike's product range will continue to expand to ensure there are cuts for every athlete," Nike said in a press release, according to Buzzfeed.
"Nike recognizes that women are stronger, bolder and more forthright than ever," the press release continues. “In today's world, sport is no longer something that she does, but something that defines her. The days when we had to add the word 'woman' before 'athlete' are over. She is an athlete, period. And by helping to fuel this cultural change, we celebrate the diversity of these athletes, from ethnicity to body type.”
To drive the campaign, Nike hired influencers Danielle Vanier and Grace Victoria. Both women announced the line and their brand photoshoot on their Instagram accounts this week.
