Co-host of Despierta América (Univisión) Francisca Lachapel adorns the cover of our September beauty special for the September issue.
Dressed in a flattering white dress with ruffles on the shoulder, the Dominican tells us how she feels with her new haircut. “We opted for a lighter color to soften my features. We decided to cut it to give it a more youthful, fresh and fun touch.”
The winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2015 (Univisión) also comments that she cares for her skin with homemade treatments and that her mother taught her first beauty secret. "She gave me the trick of the black line under the eyes," Lachapel confesses. "[She] never went out without that line."
And although she admits she didn't know much about fashion, her colleagues at Univisión are her great advisers. "I live surrounded by examples of women who dress very well, Alejandra Espinoza, Ana Patricia Gámez, …"; and it already has some favorite designers like Rosita Hurtado or Michael Costello.
Among her future plans are to continue training as a communicator, try her luck as a novel actress and also develop new comedy characters, "although Mela will always accompany me," she says.
