Renowned fashion designers team up with Bloomingdale's and Disney Consumer Products to create one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the highly anticipated movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Lucasfilm)
Cynthia Rowley, Diane Von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Halston, Opening Ceremoy, Ovadia & Sons, Parker, Rag & Bone, Timo Weiland and Todd Snyder are the designers who created outfits that pay tribute to the most iconic characters in the film, who are being auctioned.
The auction will run from December 2 to 18 on the CharityBuzz.com website and all proceeds will be donated to the Child Mind Institute on behalf of Star Wars: Force for Change, a charitable initiative that empowers people to have a positive influence in the world.
Michael Kaplan, the costume designer for the film, also created a tote that resembles Bloomingdale's famous Little Brown Bag and was inspired by the film.
The store has a showcase dedicated to the film where you can see the designs that are up for auction and also have the reusable bag that Kaplan designed.
