This Thursday, just at 12 am and in an interactive event led by presenter Adam Freeman, Colombian actress Sofía Vergara launched her first fragrance, Sofía by Sofia Vergara.

"I wanted to show a little of who I am, of my ethnic origin and create a fragrance in which I see myself reflected," explains the protagonist of Modern Family (ABC) through a statement.

To achieve this, the also entrepreneur participated in the entire creation process, both of the cologne, whose aroma is described as oriental floral, and of the bottle.

The aroma, created in collaboration with perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, is based on Colombian orchids and roses, vanilla, sandalwood and violet, among other ingredients. "It is designed for those who enjoy being a woman and feel irresistible," says Vergara.

The bottle, carved with multiple faces, is inspired by the actress' favorite gemstone, the emerald, characteristic of her native Colombia.

The perfume, available on the Home Shopping Network (HSN), is available in two sizes: 3.4 oz. with an art price Anne Martin-Vachon, Chief Marketing Officer at HSN.

HSN broadcasts until midnight this Thursday a special of the actress, through all its platforms, which include television, internet and mobile devices.
